Station Firmware

Use this page for a first installation or to recover a station over USB. After installation, use the station's authenticated local A/B updater for normal firmware updates.

Update Existing Station

Preserves settings and calibration. Open your station’s browser interface, choose Update, and upload the release’s opentag-station-<version>-application.bin from the GitHub releases page, not the factory image. The A/B OTA updater writes only the inactive application partition; it preserves LittleFS configuration and NVS.

Factory Install / Recovery

FACTORY INSTALL — Erases station configuration and calibration. New devices or recovery only. Back up your configuration before starting.

This installer requires desktop Chrome or Edge with Web Serial support. Open this installer from its HTTPS GitHub Pages address.

USB connection to a WT32-SC01 Plus

First-install and recovery flashing can erase local configuration and scale calibration. Back up settings when possible and review the erase choice in the installer before continuing.
